Our team spent years inside the question of how proven social programs scale. We led strategy and funding for the most rigorously proven social development program in history as it grew to global scale — and we learned the uncomfortable truth about what actually limits these programs.
It was never the model. The interventions work; the evidence is overwhelming. The limit was operations: every site reinventing its record-keeping, every case manager buried in paperwork that served the funder but not the participant, every expansion multiplying administrative weight faster than impact.
